Le Flee

So I leave the Texas borders in 14 hours.

And I really don't have a problem with it.

Texas, although filled with many memories, good friends, and yummy food isn't my home.

I wouldn't trade Oregon or Washington for it. I love that part of the country, its where my heart is.

And its the land of people who don't wear shirts that say things like "____ For Bush." First I want to vomit. Then I giggle at the obvious unintended double entendre. I am just happy to be going back to the land of recycling, Stash Tea and Blue voters.

The weekend was spent in Houston with Lonna and Lana, my mom's other best friend and her daughter. Lana said that she realized that I wasn't a little girl anymore when I said over the phone while mom and I were lost "Are we way the hell out there?". Lonna,Lana, mom and I went out to lunch. And met Lana's children. Madison is 3 years old and Jackson is 6 weeks old. Lana and Lonna started a conversation about eye brow upkeep. And before I knew it Lana made an appointment for me to get my eye brows shaped by threading. The next day Lana took mom and I and out on to the Galleria mall. The biggest mall and Texas and I had never been to it. We got to play in Sephora which was so much fun! The thearding appointment was interesting. Just unconfortable pain. Nothing to bad. My eye brows look damn hot now.

We went to a very cute tea room in Houston, ironicaly called the Ashland Tea Room. Which was located on Ashland street in the Heights district. After lunch we went to antique stores...and did stuff my mom likes to do :P

Lana and I went back to the Gallaria where I bought two skirts at Delia*s and makeup at Sephora. We also got me tweezers at Ulta.

(This is all very much fun. I knows.)

The next day we ate at the Village at a place called Le Peep. Lana and I went to Urban Outfitters (slight dissapointment) and some little boutiques. I found an anime store and bought a NERV purse. Drive back to Debbie's house in Corpus.

Sunday was spent with Glen and Cameron. I stubbed my toe really bad on this pygme of a step that is on Cameron's walk way. I couldn't swim in the ocean because of it. But we went back to Chula Vista and I took a few artsy-fartsy emo pictures. We went to Whattaburger and looked at old Chula Vista year books, We then realized that we were the outcasts of that school and didn't know it. But we stuck together and that is all that matters to us.

There seems to be more failures out of Chula Vista than succeses. And its tragic.

Jana Edwards killed herself...when they moved...I think she was in her early teens. I remember thinking that she was so pretty.

She shot herself in her pretty head.

We all parted ways and took pictures or our terrible threesome.

I bought 2 cds at Best Buy. Margaret Cho and The Honary Tile (on a whim.)

Today I spent the day with Cameron at Yin Yang Fandango/The Tango Tea Room. We talked about realationships.

Then we played and did 'peaceful graffiti' at Kid's Place, the big wodden playground in Corpus. I wrote such things like "The greatest thing you will ever learn is just to love and be loved in return."; "Love is fine, you just have to watch your hate."; and

"Time it was and what a time it was.
A time of innocence.
A time of confidences.
Look here I have a photograph.
Preserve your memories.
They're all that's left of you."

Then we walked down the peir and watched the choppy waves, a result of hurricane Emily.

And talked.

And stood there silentely.

We saw a crab swimming, churning, confussed.

We went to Moore plaza and Comic Plus. The Barnes and Noble to meet Debbie. It was time to part ways.

The book of "50 Ways to Support Gay and Lesbian Equality" was still in the Christian Inspiration section, exactly where I put the 3 books with the bright green covers and spines a week ago.

Wating and talking.

We inacted Murphy's law, by going inside to look at books.

To get them to come.

And my ride came and I hugged him goodbye.

Debbie, mom, Susan and I ate dinner at Jason's Deli.

Then we went to go get Debbie's dog Karma at Susan's house.

A eternity drive back to Anaville.

The refinerias look like faery lands at nite.

And I still haven't packed yet.
