The Week I've Had
I wonder if anything this summer will be able to top the week I've just had. Monday home with the family after finishing first year university (fingers crossed)then Tuesday the Slackers play a face-meltingly good show at Call the Office in London with me in attendance. Then Wednesday rolls around, big hike in the woods with Katelyn which was amazing, I love showing new people the prettiest parts of Dundas and in the evening its off to see the Bouncing Souls play the underground to a receptive if motley crew of steel city punk fans. Thursday is a wild night at the Céilidh House in Hess with Caleb and Tiff and their friends, highlights include smoking weed with an ex-nazi and getting hit on by a little person. Friday I'm friggin tired so I take the night off to smoke a spliff and watch trailer park boys with miles (Boys and Lahey team-up FTW). Saturday is Nick's party for more crazy drunken antics and Sunday is time to repent and do penance on the football field and then play 6 solid hours of BOTF. Monday its time to get to work, so I went and applied for 7 jobs, with that ugliness out of the way it was time for lunch on the back step with a pint of creemore and a bong in tow. I've gotta say i just don't see how the summer will pick up from here, oh well a good start by any means.
