What's Okay To Mention Around Him: What's not OK to mention around him is anything reminding him of his past failures (and his past in general), or the lack of control he really has over the arms. Other than that everything else is fine. Note that he is quick to judge others; if your character speaks intelligently and considerately, then you're all right. If they're snarky or childish, he'll see no reason not to be an asshole. He is automatically positive towards anyone who has an interest in science or technology (as opposed to being borderline hostile to everyone else), but he'll subtly test them to see just how much they know. Respect towards others must be earned. He holds respect for very few individuals on DDD.
Abilities: Otto is a normal human albeit a little overweight, but he's shouldn't be underestimated. His strength comes from his intellectual and technological genius, as well as his mechanical tentacles. The arms are able to lift several tons by themselves, stretch to 20 feet long, and can strike with the force of a jackhammer.
Notes for the Psychics: Control, control, control. He has a complex about it. Control of the arms, control of his life, control of the elements themselves. He has an overwhelming sense of superiority over others, but his recent sacrifice has made him slightly fractured and neurotic. He has a deep sadness that he hides by being more of a jerk surly.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Only if you don't mind him going ballistic and choking a bitch. He doesn't tolerate physical threats.
Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Secretly Otto longs for human contact. It has been a very long time since he has related to another human being (that didn't involve pummeling the hell out of each other). But being a widow, and having such respect and love for his late wife, it's hard for him to even think about moving on. Otto has a weakness for strong women; he's normally very bold and domineering to others, but he'll become a big teddy bear around them. This makes saying no to Wuya very difficult for him.
Maim/Murder/Death: He thrills to combat, and is a bit of a masochist. (Anyone who designs a cybernetic attachment to shove itself into their spine has to have some affection for pain.) He can put up one hell of a fight. Fighting is OK. Maiming is OK. Killing is... something you'll have to ask me about first. It depends on the situation. My default answer is gonna be no.
