Project 1 - Module 3 - just as janky as the chapter notes

Find at least ONE other Entrepreneurial Blog and link it to your blog -
http://www.silentbobspeaks.com/
http://www.entrepreneur.com/blog/0,6834,,00.html
http://www.problogger.net/archives/2005/02/18/entrepreneurial-blog-consultant-for-hire

Question 1: In your own words, summarize each of the 3 links you researched above. Give a summary each site, and for the business site, let us know what type of business this is.

Silentbobspeaks.com is the online diary of filmmaker Kevin Smith. He uses it to not only keep you up to date on what's going on with his latest films, but also to sell you merch/promote his comic book stores. Pretty ingenious if you ask me

Entrepreneur.com blog space is actually a place for fellow entreprenuers to gather and share news and tips for starting up their own businesses. It actually teaches you how to make money off your websites while they are making money from advertisers by bringing in tons of traffic.

Problogger.net is similar to the entreprenuer.com site in that it teaches you how to how to make money, except for the fact that you actually pay this guy as a consultant! He sells his consulting services thru his blog, that's pretty easy!

Question 2: What other options would an entrepreneur have to market themselves to their audience? What things can a blog do for an entrepreneur that these other means of self-promotion can not? Do you feel blogs are an effective alternative to these methods? Why or why not?
Entreprenuers have lots of marketing options. Print ads, radio and tv ads, even in places like the recycler/pennysaver, you could even make demo cds to pass out. Blogs I think add a personal touch that the other mediums might not. Lots of people these days are disgusted with corporate America and would rather purchase products and services from a small business owner.

Rating - 5 - Strongly supports my thesis.
