Word to the wise: If you're taking three or more creative output classes, never ever ever start a time consuming personal project.
For example: It's nice to have a website. It's considerably less nice to be behind in all of your classes, to the point where you're pretty sure you're about to miss some deadlines.
Not my best move ever.
So! What I've got to do:
c++ homework: the class for project 7 is almost done, which leaves the driver, the test cases, and the makefile. Surprisingly, this means that most of my work is done. I just need to make sure that I finish it today
typography: I've got my resume all nicely type set, and my image list in a similar system. This leaves my business card and my cover letter. The cover letter's probably gonna be the worst part (you try to sell yourself to an imaginary company and see how much you can come up with to talk about)
painting: finish the still life I'm working on (problem: I'm pretty sure it's due today), start another one (?) and my self portrait as something else painting. The last two involve purchasing stretcher bars and canvas, stretching them, and gessoing them. I also want to work on my piece for the yultide gift art exchange (I've got it all sketched in on some gessoed panel. I'm pretty excited about it)
comics: work on my cover and draw some more. This is one that I can put off until....we'll call it saturday, then I really have to get on it again. Can't have another weekend like this one (9 pages inked in two days, baby!)
so, today I am going to:
- Go to class
- Go to hobby lobby
- stretch canvas and gesso
- work on programming homework
- go to independent study meeting
- typography homework
- paint
Well, it's good to have a plan
