1. The first unitedslash fic in almost a year, I think - my muse is rusty, so forgive me if this is not really quality :p. seeing cris and wayne together made me want to write though, so, there it is. just a short one to get the muse working again.
2. I think this is mostly feel like a gen-fic instead of slash, bar a couple of places. hope the slash doesn't feel too forced and the fic still flows alright.

Years later, you would come to understand this, but this was his first season in United and you, older and (you’d like to think, as you were in United earlier than him) more senior than him, still wanted to get your opinion across, even with your poor English.
