The Reality
“Let’s get married.”
“Wh… What?!” Cristiano looked at him with confusion. Wayne has already got down on one knee holding an opened blue box with a platinum ring on it.
“Will you marry me?” Wayne asked again.
“Do… don’t play with that, Wayne. It…It’s not funny.”
“Cris, look at me. Will I joke with you this?”
Cristiano shakes his head.
“Good. Please give me an answer now coz’ my knee is in pain…” Wayne laughed.
“What about Colleen? Have you forgotten that you are marrying her this summer Mr. Wayne Rooney?!” Cristiano yelled.
“I…” Wayne lost his word. He gets up and holds his hands but is shoved by him.
“Wayne! Please don’t do this to me! You asked me this when you have a fiancée? You must be kidding. You are so irresponsible! This is not the Wayne I knew. I hate you!” The Portuguese ran out from the house. His own house. And left Wayne alone.
I’m leaving her, Cris… I’m… going to leave her… for you…
I should have settled before asking him. I made a big mistake…I made a big mistake…
And now…he never gonna forgive me…What should I do now? I need to talk to someone…
Wayne speed dials the number. “Hi! Sorry to bother you. But can you come out now?”
