Dear Diary,
So I have today to get together a whole bunch of stillshots to illustrate to the band what my ideas for their clip are. This is difficult for three reasons.
One) I'm pretty lazy
Two) I still dont have a completely solid idea of anything to do with how Im going to do this whole clip.
and
Three) Im almost positive that at least one of the band will think my ideas and designs are shit. Because thats what happened last time. Man, just remembering the trouble we had last time, I want to poke his eyes out. Theres a problem when people with cool ideas and the excited bouncy desire to use these ideas meet people who are gay and like wanky bullshit. I mean.. the guys are all awesome, but they can be a pain in the ass to work with. They dont usually have any solid ideas of what they like, they just hate everything else. And they're almost impossible to get in contact with. So the communication of said ideas tends to be slow at best. At worst it could probably be likened to something involving walking waist deep in honey while being anally raped by a vicious lumberjack. Or indeed, a viscous lumberjack. Either way, theres buttsexxin going on with a toothed metal implement.
man I hope they like this idea. Theyve already rejected an awesome idea I gave them for one of their other songs. Which I spose doesnt really matter, cause Ill just save up all these ideas and use them for clips for Brett and I when we end up with sweet songs that we want clips to.
I think I really want to get into making videoclips. I like the idea of working in a film setting, but the films always being short projects, where I can get away with leaking creativity out my ass, and then moving onto something else where I get to be awesome again. And it doesnt matter if it doesnt make sense, cause unlike films, people mainly want videoclips to be COOL. Fuck that sensical crap. Hell some of my favorite videoclips make almost no sense. A few of them do.. but theyre all COOL.
When Ive done these pics, and after Ive talked to the band tomorrow, I might put a few of the shots up here. Just to show off that Im pretty fantastic.
