Oh man, I walked around so much that my legs were aching long after I came back to my aunty's place. x_x But man, was it worth it. I spent there entire day on only the main street, Chuo Dori, and I already spent about 20000 yen, and I haven't even seen like 1/5th of the place yet!
Angel Beats! music was playing literally everywhere. I am disappoint that there was no Angel Beats! merchandise though. :/ But next time I bet there will be for sure. I was also searching for Valkyria Chronicles, Persona, Evangelion, and Sakura Wars merchandise. I managed to find all of them, except for the Sakura Wars ones. :/ Guess I'm going to have to import those music CDs then... Also found good stuff for Kelly, Shayna, and Jake. :3
So what did I get. Let's see...Persona 4 Souji and Chie keychains, the Persona 3 Portable Fan Book, My Soul, Your Beats!/Brave Song CD, Valkyria Chronicles Song Collection CD, the Persona 4 Drama CD Vol. 3, and a Valkyria Chronicles II Cosette figure from the Sega arcade's crane game.
And speaking of crane games, I think the Sega arcade is where I spent the rest of my 20000 yen. Luckily, it took me two tries (about 250 yen total) to get the Valkyria Chronicles II Cosette figure. But man, I spent a lot trying to get the other figures, especially the Ayanami Rei one. x_x Those crane games look easy, but they're far from it!
Sadly, I didn't see too much cosplayers. The first one I saw was a girl cosplaying as Mari from Evangleion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance, and long later when the school students started coming was a Roy Mustang.
