last minute? driving across the country to come pick you up is not last minute. You lied to me about almost anything, even up to the very very end, so why should I even believe anything you say.
I never said I was perfect, but I'm a lot more perfect than you. Like I said, a guy doesn't drive across the country to pick up a "friend" he has never met except on the internet. Whether the sexual/romantic interest is reciprocated by you I don't know, but it is there at least on one side. In any case all it's going to take is for you to get drunk anyways, so it doesn't really matter. Fact is you did end up leaving to go live with some guy you never met, and think of how long it took for you to really get to know me, if at all. As cool as he might seem, fact remains you don't know squat about him, he could be a serial murderer for all you are concerned.
Sad reality is, for all the lies and unecessary harm you've caused me, I still have concern for you, and the decision you made, whether you think so or not, was incredibly childish and stupid.
I don't know where I am going with this. Although I do not relish the thought of being alone, it is something I'll live with, and I do feel a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, as I don't have to worry about what you are going to do or planning my future around your activities, or lack thereof. I loved you but you hurt me beyond repair and I put up with it, and put up with it. You lied incessantly, and I put up with it, and put up with it. I tried to get you out and motivated to do something, but you declined and declined. I am incredibly regretful that it had to end like this, but that is the bed you made and now we both have to lay in it. So be it.
