More Guatemala Stuff, yay!
In a few minutes, I'm going to go shopping for a warm hat and gloves, plus some trail mix or something.
I need to buy these things because tonight at midnight, I'm going to climb a mountain. Tonight there's a full moon, so the Spanish school decided to take us climbing all night so that we can reach the top in time for sunrise. Then we zombie our way back down the mountain.
Only I'm not going to sleep when I get back. Instead, I'm going to Momotenango, where they sell all sorts of woolen goods. Blankets, jackets, all sorts of things.
I think I'm going slower in my Spanish classes than a lot of other people here. I spoke to a woman who had my teacher last week, and she said she covered in one day what we covered in two. I think she covered in three days what my teacher plans to cover with me all week.
Maybe I'll try to speed the process up. I just want to make sure I understand everything before I go on and learn something else.
