(no subject)
so I had a good weekend. I can't write much because I had a good, unproductive weekend, lol. but yeah. I saw an interesting play (Lobster Alice). twice (for the company). On Saturday I did community service by cleaning up part of the city with Project Pride. basically I picked up trash and stuff with a bunch of friends. much fun. tried to do homework. kind of. I did actually get some of my math homework done this weekend. I need to go see the prof though before the test on thursday. today I went to the band concert and watched my roomie and many others that I know play music. jazz band was really good. the rest of the day the social action music fest was going on. I didn't see all that much of it because I was again trying to be productive. but around 9ish i went back to see a band that an AQ student is in (pretty good rock-bluesish band called Zarzamora) and then a ska band right after that. I impressed my ska-fan friends with my skanking abilities. it was fun. Now I am on a coffee high doing my chem stuff for the poster session we're having on wednesday. w00t. brings back memories of posters made at Butcher. except not as cool. I still have to write a paper by tuesay. rough draft though, not that big a deal. But man, I really can't believe this is the last week of classes. crazy. so much to do! I really should have doen more this weekend, but I am a slacker and work best under pressure anyway.
So earlier this week I got an email from MSU about a transfer student scholarship. obviously I can't apply this year because I am going to AQ in the fall, but if I got that if/when I transfer next year...that would be pretty awesome. My mom thinks it might be a sign from God. Well, I said that I thought it might be first, and then she agreed with me. And coming from her.....that's a good sign. maybe she's feeling a bit less .....aprehensive (?) of my possibly transferring. who knows. And I finally got to register for the class I wanted to take this summer that will transfer for the computer science class I'd need for MSU engineering school. I'm pretty excited. I guess I'm still not 100 % certain (again), but I'm feeling a bit more assured about it now.
so....that was an unnecessarily long post. but oh well. I come home in two weeks! I can't wait! but then I go back after a week! So call me and hang out and stuff! i miss you guys!
