(no subject)
Today was a very good day :)
busy, but surprisingly good.
I thought it would be bad, being as how it was even more busy than normal with having to come in and finish the lab from tuesday in my 1.5 hour window between world religions and spanish, but the lab actually turned out good, and I left with just enough time to make a call about research :)
I'm making some progress on that, not much, but some. and I'm not waiting until the last minute, which makes me proud of myself. I'm really excited for this project, andI'm really excited about Ireland next year. And Math was good, did not terrific on the test but not bad either. got some encouraging words from my professor about my career choice, and I think that I am finally making a decision and a plan and sticking with it. Granted, I was a dumbss and got myself stuck here for another year, and that means that I will probably take five years to graduate, but it was for a geat opportunity to do research and make money and I get to travel to Ireland for about 5000 (plus food and travel etc.). So....I'm pretty excited for life :)
And when I went to the bathroom in the academic building, someone had etched into the wall of the stall "if you want to find someone you love, you gotta be someone you love." I think I've heard it before, but this time it really seemed to make sense to me.
And I really like my new icon, I know it looks pretty angry, but that's not why I decided to use it.
I'm going home this weekend! And then spring break is the week after next!! and end of february/March is going to rock!!! yay :)
