happy turkey day
so I suppose it was naive of me to think that I wouldn't have to deal with my parents and their divorce after I moved out and went to school, but this is getting rediculous. It's like we've regressed back to when it started. seriously, I didn't have this many "divorce issues" throughout high school. and now all of a sudden....what? they decided they'd gone too long with getting along? not enough drama in their lives already? Maybe it would be better if I were independent of both of them. it may be necessary to start the process of doing so pretty soon...urgh.
but other than all that, Thanksgiving was good. great food, good times, saw some family that I haven't seen in a while. won two games of euchre :). took a nap. 'twas fun. which is why this year I am grateful for my innate ability to ignore my problems and act like nothing's wrong. although not really.
though I am grateful that the extent of "my problems" is not as great as it could be. and moreso, I am grateful for my amazing friends, for without you my life would not be the same.
