this week seemed to go by fast. probably because of that whole having monday off thing.

So I think instead of going to another college this weekend, I might just take this weekend to get stuff straightened out and get ahead and caught up in classes and stuff. and maybe sleep/relax a little. or something. doesn't mean you can't come visit me in GR ;) especially since roommate is home this weekend.
lol, j/k. I realize no one would want to come here, lol.
So I'm excited for this tuesday because some pals and I are going to the park in GR for free swing dance lessons. yay! one of the reasons I'm trying to get ahead in classes. also I just don't want to do homework during the week. I'd rather visit people at GVSU and MSU :)

So, my school is ok, but it reminds me of high school. a lot.
that might have to do with the fact that my freshman class is only slightly bigger than the freshman class I was in for high school. but the girl-to-guy ratio is higher lol. all the classes are small. that's supposed to be a good thing, but w/e. the classes are all easy too. my math teacher isnt very good though. he makes things way more complicated than they should be and makes me miss Mrs. Copeland. Spanish is like Watkins class but easier.
My biggest class is chem lecture, which is 7o-soemthing people. and that's like, the biggest class they've ever had or something. and yet they still have chem recitation. for a 70-something people class. but they only have two sessions, so the recitation is still 30-something people large. I see no point, especially since recitation is dumb and makes me feel like a kinfdergartner in an assigned group with roles like group leader and such. lol.
But then again, I really shouldn't complain because I don't get much homework. well, I would have a lot if I ever did the math, but he doesn't collect it and my book still hasn't come, so....
the people here are interesting. kind of. soem of them. hardly any diversity whatsoever. I think i could be considered diverse because I'm not a rich catholic. but there is a kid from Sudan in one of my classes.
there's also a girl in my chem class who looks like a brunette Jillian Grubowski. like, they could be twins.
and if you ever watched the cartoon Ed, Edd, and Eddy, if you remember the three sisters that lived ina trailor, and the blonde one whose eyes were squished together...there's a girl here who look like that.
and for all my myths and epics kids, do you remember those slides Mrs. Ritter showed us from that children's book about Greek Myths with the pictures of the gods (especially Apollo) with curly blonde hair and big eyes? there's a guy here who looks like he came out of that book.
It's pretty nice though. it's pretty and kind of scenic. grand rapids is nice, and east town is too. east grand rapids is really nice. i still haven't gone bike-riding around the lake yet, maybe I'll do that this weekend. if it doesn't rain. um, other than that....I'm having a pretty good time. but if you're reading this, I miss you, so give me a call or email or something.
