An old journal entry

I have learned to hate the concept of "why?" I believe that it causes people to dwell on things that are unimportant and life hindering. The real purpose in life is to rejoice that Jesus Christ is LORD and to follow Him and be perfect examples of Christians, so that others may come to know him.

Thinking about the past is destructive. You dwell on what you could have done, what you should have done.

Dwelling on what is to come is worse. The time comes and it is mot perfect like you pictured it to be. You are let down and begin to think about what you could have done to make it better, though it was ultimately out of your control because it is God that controls things to reveal imortant lessons to you, whether you choose to realize that they're there or not.

People claimi that the can't change the way that they are. They were born that way. It's a fallacy. They haven't tried to change. Maybe they just don't want to admit that they could ever be wrong because they are perfect.

In regards to dating, you get hurt if you aren't ready. It's not true love if the feeling is not mutual. It's not true love if you break up. True love lasts until death and beyond that. It does not mind the faults and imperfections of the other, but loves them. If two are lucky enough to find this love, i am proud of them and hope to experience that same love with the man that God has chosen for me. What an awesome love God has shown to all of us. He allowed his ONLY son to dies to save all of his children. Each and every one of us.

I am perfect physically, for God has made me the way i am with no doubt in His mind about me. He understands all of my actions, and though i sin, blatently in front of Him, He still loves me. That concept gives me grat joy though it doesn't mean i should sin just because i know i will be forgiven by God. I have to do my best to not sin, and to repent from the sins i commit.

Being proud is the worst sin because instead of thinking about glorifying God, we are only tring to glorify ourself. It is also hard not to do.

Try to grasp the concept of distance. You are so incredibly insignificant compared to all the distance. Think of the stars. They are so big and so far away. God is equal to the distance. He is so much greater thananyone could every be.

Live in the now. You'll get further than ever if you do so.
