I aspire to compose music like this band. I owe it to myself to purchase tago mago on vinyl. I read a review yesterday in which the reviewer described their sound as one created from the inability to play instruments. In other words, their lack of musicality defifned their music. If CAN couldn't play their instruments, I don't know what I saw last night
Anyway, I NEED REUBEN VALDEZ' PHONE NUMBER - If you have it, please e-mail me or post it in a reply here in the ol' blog. My Twin Reverb has gone belly up in the tube department, and I need some matched 6L6s and preamp tubes (half of them have gone microphonic).
It's 5 minutes to ten, and I'm going to get off the internet at 10 and stay off for the rest of the day. I play to chop up some drones and work on a new beat. HIV Wolves will be back in full effect as a live band in... 2 months. in the meantime, if I can find some shows to play, it will just be the old bit with the mic and the laptop. Whatever. Peace.
