i leave for tour in 12 days. oh my... i still need to write lyrics and record vocals for 7 songs. i think i'll probably just record vocals for the tracks on the ep, and just jam out the other tunes live. especially all those "get pumped" tracks, as i like to call them. the ones with the really big beats, buzzy synths, and handclap breakdowns. i sampled james brown records in 2 different songs and remixed "stay with me tonight." now THAT is totally a "get pumped" remix. puff daddy and odb are head to head for dibs on the next "get pumped" remix. "get pumped," ok?
tonight was spent on artwork for the tour tracks and t-shirts. i cannot believe how much work this is turning out to be. i'm still planning on japan in december, and i'm half tempted to take fall term off of school to make 7 more jams and tour again. then i could tour western europe over spring break. yes? aye. financial turmoil!
