today i got some dense bread from the Pearl Bakery in NW. though it is only the size of every other medium loaf in the bakery, it weighs close to 6lbs. maybe not THAT close to 6 lbs. but close.
my apartment is being vacated. yes, sir. i am moving out, as is my lovely roommate, ms. honey owens. i technically will be paying rent here until the 7th of april, but honey's already sleeping at her new house in SE, and i'm all over the city all the time. but i'll miss having her around. she and her boyfriend both. mwwwwaaah.
anyway, all this moving out business really only means one thing. party time. sometime in the first week of april, there will be a REAL no-furniture party all up in the morrison park building. octopus will be tearing up jams and i think i might be able to convince honey to blitz out with the solo valet.
in other music news, i'm gonna have a hand clap ho-down at my place next next saturday, march 27th. if you think you have rhythm, you are invited. this event is part of a week-and-a-half marathon i'm holding for myself, my laptop, and my coffee beginning march 18. i'm finishing 6 of my hip-hop tracks for the collaboration between myself and my extremely talented friend casey (octo vs. mc shambles, to the death!). hopefully we'll be able to do a CD-R release this summer and tour our little hippie brains out. yeah!
