Reach up for the sunrise...
Work consisted of:
The cable box being unhooked (meaning no TV)
The VCR/DVD player NOT working
The floors being quarantined (again)
A boring morning with 4 people down
An even more boring afternoon with 2 people down
The floors being waxed without supervision
A volunteer coming today to do stuff...except there was nothing to do
An alarm going off for a good 3 minutes because a resident would not move away from it
A long ass conversation with the supervisor (because apparently I'm her saving grace?)
A resident basically ripping a chunk of her skin off
And best of all...
A flood in the kitchen! AND NO ONE THERE TO FIX IT!!!
My dinner with Jen and Rachel consisted of:
The first half an hour talking about camp
The same half an hour finding some place to eat
Hearing about Jen's dating life with girls
Hearing about Rachel's life as a student teacher
Hearing their mom's were a couple and going to live together
Shitty food at Applebees
The two of them having no interest in my life
And best of all...
Someone actually dined and ditched...AND GOT CAUGHT!
That was my day!
