Fic prompt I came across today: Sherlock is summoned to America to consult on the case of the serial criminals Sam and Dean Winchester.
It hasn't been filled, but it doesn't have to be for my brain to latch on to it. Despite my general lack of interest in Supernatural since the end of season five, I am still a little obsessed with the concept. Oh, fandom, I have missed your cracky hilarity.
So, to clarify my last post a little bit:
01. I gave notice, didn't just walk. So I'm still there for two weeks.
02. I tried to explain to the boss the things she does that push me to the edge where I quit my job with no substitute (and just how far an edge this is for me). I'm pretty certain the whole thing fell on deaf ears. We were at it for about an hour O_o I think she thinks I quit because of work/life balance. Which is part of it, but definitely not all of it, but I'm pretty sure it was the only thing I quoted as a reason other than her. Also: the work/life balance problem is because of her
03. Night shifts got cancelled. So apparently the way to get out of that was to quit.
I have proceeded to spend the entirety of today on my couch with the silly word games on dictionary.com and Sherlock fic. I'm planning to go to Kat's as soon as I gather the willpower to get off the couch. Which should be right after I hit post. Seeing as I said I'd be there by three (ehe, whoo). I say this partly in general, and partly so Kat will read it and know I'm more or less en route :)
Also: Dan's coming back tomorrow instead of Wednesday :)
