He knows it had more to do with Dean than it did with her. His falling, that is. He made the action a necessity, a desire, but she put the idea in his head. Gave him the first inkling that rebelling was even a possibility.

She started it.

He knows she's nearby. He can feel her presence, even now. He can feel her, but he ignores her. Looks at his hands, the walls, the strange contraption Dean gave him (a cell, Cas. It's called a cell). He looks anywhere but where he knows she's hiding.

Heaven won't forgive him. He won't forgive her.

------------------

The cab ride back to the motel is uncomfortable. Contained. You will never get used to it, so you distract yourself. "You know it wasn't really like that, right?"

Dean twists around in the front seat to give you a quizzical look. You can sense Sam's confusion from beside you, as far across the backseat as he can get. So he doesn't have to touch you. You don't mind. You don't want to touch him either.

"The play. The story. The beginning. It didn't really happen like that," you elaborate.

Dean frowns, "It didn't?"

"No. There was less singing. And less-" you wave vaguely in the air, searching for words in the human language and coming short, "-dancing," you finish lamely, though it doesn't quite describe the gyrations.

Even Sam snickers at that, so you roll down a window and keep your thoughts to yourself.

------------------

You never would have thought of it if it weren't for the arguments. The bickering. The way they can't help laying into each other like an old married couple.

It was that exact phrase that set you off. Old married couple. Well, that and the mental image that went with it. The acts that married couples engage in.

One would think it would be traumatizing, but instead you find it hilarious and more than a little hot. You clutch your sides as you laugh, as though your sides would split with the force of it. They've stopped arguing to stare at you. Jacob's eyes wide with confusion, while Edward's face shows only a hint of frustration.

The relief that you have the one mind Edward can't read is almost tangible. You keep laughing.

And that's the first, the second and the fifth, I feel I should add. I don't like the second one.

Heeheee! I love fic request days! :D Thank you!!! sasuran January 10 2010, 19:35:52 UTC
For some reason, these fics gave me a lot of questions I wanted to ask more than comments! Here goes:

1) When would the first fic take place? I'm intrigued... (I could read it very differently depending on whether it falls before or after Cas' betrayal...)

2) Why is Cas avoiding being touched by Sam? Intrigued...

And for number three, I'm disturbed that given the prompt "angry sex", old people is what came to your mind. *ROFL*

1. After.

2. I dunno. My feel is that Castiel only puts up with Sam because of Dean. I don't think he likes him very much. Probably doesn't see him much above the demons. Or at least, that's my feel on it. *shrug*

3. It was me avoiding the prompt itself, lolz. Because for all I want angry!Edward/angry!Jacob, I can't imagine it actually happening.
