15 days, 5 things, day 8
My momma is coming over in just a little bit and she's going take me to Citymarket and we're going to buy food for me and food for Maggiemaggie and then we might get a new hoover!
Also, later to day I get to do jellyshots at Saana's place. I've never had jellyshots.
5 things that you're known for
... how am I supposed to know what I'm known for, though? I mean, as a general rule, a person's self-image isn't the same as the image other people have. But, ok. I'll give this a shot. And you can tell me if I got it right or wrong.
1. Pointing out almost every single dog I see with *squee!* and "doggy!" and *says random thing about breed*
2. Being late.
Though I'm not sure if this applies to me personally, or my entire family. As a unit, our family has its own sense of time, and it doesn't often match the pace of the outside world. I don't really think I'm that bad at keeping time, but since it's a question of perspective I'll add it here.
3. Forgetting things
Conversations I've had, appointments, promises I've made, if I fed the dog or not, anything really... If I don't write it down, I tend to not remember.
4. Having Theories.
These I will announce with some pride, and then say something thoroughly unoriginal, likely relating human behaviour to that of a pack of dogs. But I'll call it my theory anyway, because at least I drew the conclusions myself. (Though Lillanna did point out the other day that I was telling her something that she had originally told me... So... uhm. See point 3.)
5. Tea, toasted rye bread, cheese and slices of cucumber/tomato.
This is actually outdated, since I don't eat bread anymore and I drink a lot more coffee than I do tea, but this was my favourite thing to eat for years and years. This was also what I offered to anyone who came over.
And, of course, there's the "having crappy hearing". This is part running joke, part actual fact. I hear badly out of one ear (I've even got proof!), but it's a trait I'm rather fond of. Makes me feel special or something.
