Geez, I haven't updated in forever.... Lots of stuff has happened, but there's no way in hell I’ll be able to start from where I left off.. So I'll start with last weekend.
Last weekend was MAGFest. Damn all of you who should of been there and weren't, you all know who you are!!! I spent most of Friday in the game room either playing video games or "man"ing the table. I didn't mind watching the table and stuff, because that meant I got to sit down and watch how everyone interacted with each other. I had fun watching people. Robert V. Aldrich assumed that I was bored, and proceeded to shamelessly plug his book to me.. I had no idea what the hell he was going on about... asking me if I like reading and whatnot...then of course he recommends Crossworld, which is his book. I was like WTF? Why would I bring books to a VG con? Actually at the time I had no idea that he was even a guest, but when I realized he was I couldn't stop laughing. It was just so sad, BAD Robert, BAD!!!! I swear for the whole weekend there had to be about 10 or so females at the con. A couple times throughout the weekend guys kept asking me why I was there.... who was I with? They did double takes when I told them I came on my own. I bought Time and Space from OneUp Studios, picked up Ailsean's edition of the MAGFest OUS promo cd. I also picked up Silver Edition and SQUAREDANCE Limited Edition from KFSS (Project Majestic Mix).
Saturday I went to all the music panels.. 2pm: Minibosses/Everyone 3pm: Project Majestic Mix/OneUp Mushrooms 4pm Blips and Beeps - How They Make Game Music with Jake Kaufman (Virt)
The panels were cool because I finally got to see what all these people look like. They had Q&A's but I had no idea what to ask, so I just sat there. lol. Later I went to the concert, and I was right up front and center right along with Mazedude, Joe_Cam and Sarah. OMG, this concert just kicked so much ass, it was the reason I went to MAGFest. The energy was just amazing, I'm not one for dancing or grooving, but Mazedude and I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. Right before the Mushrooms went up we made sure to tell all the people around us to yell for ENCORE before they ended.. They listened to us, so the Mushrooms did do an encore. ^____^ I called David on my cell phone while they were playing so he could just get a small taste of what he was missing, and to rub it in.... I had to, I was so mad at everyone in NoVA for not being there. The Minibosses definitely sound better live. They know how to rock, and I can't wait Thomas actually decides to sign on AIM so I can tell him that I saw the Minibosses LIVE!! He's the one who showed me who the MB were. After the concert I went with Mustin to party in Jake's room. I was drinking with Dale and Mazedude. Dale had too much and got sick, but Master... he was chugging vodka and really got sick. So that made for an interesting night. After Master was taken care of Mustin, Joe_Cam, Mazedude, Kassie, Kae and I went to IHOP at about 6am.. >,< I was so tired.. I finally got to bed at about 7:30am and woke up at 9:30am..Oh before I forget I have to say that I wore my sexy red vinyl pants Saturday, and they were a major hit. ^___^ That was the first time I wore them.... HAH Dena!!! I told you they'd be goooooood. :P Anyways........
Sunday Mustin, Mazedude and I went out to lunch... and Mac's and Maggie’s or something like that... Ben Affleck was our waiter, it was so funny!!!!! I should of gone home Sunday to do homework, but that didn't happen. Friday and Saturday night I stayed with Pernell & Rez in their room... The only people that were still "at" MAGFest Sunday night were Dale North, Mustin, Mazedude, Kassie, Carlito and me. I procrastinated, so I stayed way too late to even drive home, so I stayed with Dale and Mustin.. NEVER watch the Disney Channel when you ARE really tired and giddy... Pretty soon all the mermaids will be shipped out via UPS.. Damn you UPS GUY!!!! It was really interesting watching Buffy 5x09 to the Once More With Feeling soundtrack.
Monday I drove home listening to Time & Space, and totally missed my classes..opps ^,^''
