Yesterday I got some new stuff in Charlottesville:
Dress shirts for cheap from Focus' Flea Market. My parents had this freak out that they threw out a bunch of my clothes, but I haven't noticed any missing clothing yet so /shrug.
New Balance shoes W1222WB, still totally keeping my 804's though.
Xenosaga III / Guide book
Best Buy lost my dad's laptop. They're going to call us when they find it, or decided to give him a new one. T'was amusing.
I am majorly excited about Xenosaga, cuz HEY XENO-SERIES. I still think Xenogears is like the game of all time, but I'm so biased. I never finished 2 so I'm frantically playing that now. I hooked the ps2 up to my audio box (Hurray for surround) Still have to use my crappy Zenith TV that's older then me though. PS2 was giving me a little hell but I took out the hard drive and tried to clean it with canned air, and put it back together. Seems to be doing better now.. hmm.
Last night went back to Charlottesville with my friend Kimmi. Surprisingly we did not get lost even though we both have no sense of direction. We went to the Outback Lodge (It is not related to Outback Steakhouse) over on Preston Avenue. Upstairs (ground level) is the bar with a pool table and stuff. We came for the club that's downstairs. Only they kicked us out and we had to wait till 10 to get back in. We got there at like 9 because we didn't know. I had never been there before and it was Kimmi's second time. So we just talked outside, it was cool.
I didn't really fit in with the crowd this time. I'll have to dress more punk/goth next time. I wore my cut off jeans and red butterfly shirt along with my spiky necklace and my new NBs. I really glowed in the black light. ^^; But... there were some really beautiful people and beautiful outfits. This one guy totally looked like he could have cosplayed Kenshin. I kept staring but he was so pretty and feminine looking. I was jealous of a lot of guys hair.. only a little bit.
The music that the DJ played was not bad, Dave would have loved it. (I actually tried to call you but it was like a black hole for signal down there). Lots of heavy bass with a punkish sound. Industrial Dance? Not exactly sure, I'm more interested in vocal tracks.
Kimmi had this guy hitting on her. He totally looked like a tourist, extremely out of place, dark tan and bald. He was so drunk and saying the worst things to try and pick up a girl.. .. "I'm not sure if you're legal.." etc. I tried to talk to him to get the focus off her but he ignored me. "You goth girls are so pretty." We tried so hard not to laugh at that because she was only wearing black! At least he listened when I told him to take a hike. (Well I didn’t really say it I did that motion ya know? Thumb off to the side or something (I can't describe it). That was the scare of the night, but we had fun and hopefully we'll go again.
I really need to learn how to dance before hand.
I also felt really proud of myself because I didn't want to smoke at all last night even though I had a few beers. I quit Wednesday. (Yay).
