Workin it
A very stressful weekend has ended, work wise... Here's what went down.
This Saturday we had inventory, and since I worked Day Shift, and Jessi had Night shift, we had to get everything ready for Mark. My main task was to take care of the big mess called Mis-Match.
Mis-Match is when people rent movies, and return them. but forget to put the movies inside. We're supposed to check them in to an account called Mis-Match. Then we call them and tell them to turn in the movie.. you know, check the dvd player. blah blah blah. and that's all fine and dandy, cuz they return them...
BUT there are stupid CSRs who just check the movie in like regular so the computer says that we have the movie on shelf even though we don't...
OR people don't return the movie at all...
OR they got it like that. and it was the person before that never returned it..
Inventory on Saturday was huge, because it was the last one of the year.. So Mark told me i had to check all the MM in and charge all of them the PVP price (previously viewed price) So basically they bought the movie/game because they didn't return it..its a long and annoying process and i have to print histories and stuff. THEN people actually started returning stuff after i charged them so we have to credit it back.. When I had to charge them I had to take the rentals and transfer them to PVP, and so when they bring it back, that actually just leaves said game/movie in PVP, and later it'll have to be transfered back to to rental..
I spent 5 hours doing that shit.
Plus I had CSR's trying to call in, and I basically had to tell them to come in to work or find another job, because EVERYONE worked on Saturday. They showed up.
That was Saturday's fun. Last night I had to print out a ton of reports before I could even run the daily reports. If I had forgotten one of the reports and started dailies, I would of been screwed. Because everything reset for the new year. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, but it just took a long time and my CSRs were calling me every 3 minutes with a problem. I just felt like I wasn't getting anything done.. Mark didn't call this morning, so I guess I did alright.
Last night I got red shirts, so I've officially moved up in the world. They're Jeff's old shirts, they REEEEEEEEEK of him, I can't believe he didn't wash them. >,<
So they're washing right now. We didn't get our shipment in this weekend, so hopefully it came this morning..
Tonight is gonna suck too because having to receive, prep and put out product all in one day is nuts. Plus changing all the POP. >,<
It'll be nice to have Tuesday and Wednesday off, but I'd rather work so I don't have time to think.
