Blockbuster owns my soul, even more so..
Good news. I got my charger in the mail today. So I can start using my cell phone again.
I have more good news, or bad news, depending on how you look at it.
I am now officially the full time Assistant Manager at Blockbuster. Jeff is gone, because he forgot to lock the exit doors last night, and apparently this is the second time that's happened. There was also a money issue yesterday but that's my fault...
Martina needed two 20's. So I pulled them from the till I was working on (Jeff's) and gave them to her. We were way too busy so we just shut the tills and I totally forgot to pull $40 from her drawer. I was going to take 5's and 1's because she had excess amounts.. So at the end of the night Jeff's till is $40 under. Martina's till should have been $40 over, and that would have evened everything out. Only that's not how it played out. It was $11-something over. So they both got written up when it's basically my fault. I explained everything to Mark and I don't think I'm going to get written up. I know I didn't take $40 home with me or anything, because I never took anything out of her till..
So now Martina has a final warning, and Shaun has a final warning from that $16.04, which I feel I should both be written up for, but apparently not.
I'm gladly taking the full-time, but I don't feel like I deserve it. It just seems fucked up. Also, with full-time comes 100% availability, which means I will have to work Wednesday nights.
So now the store looks like this..
Mark - Store Manager
Jessi - Senior Assistant Manager
Sara - Full-Time Assistant Manager (which means my badge will actually SAY ASSISTANT MANAGER on it. and I'll eventually get some red shirts)
Will - Part-Time Assistant Manager (basically I got Jeff's job and Will got mine).
There are like 4 CSRs with final warnings, which means one more thing and they're gone.. Janice, Hope, Martina and Shaun..
Then there's Kristin, Elizabeth, Jessie, Jeremy, Joey and we just hired Tony.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that Mark said he wants to try and get my pay up to $7.25. I currently get $6.25 an hour. When I started at Blockbuster as a CSR I got minimum wage, $5.15.
