i got some hot gossip
Before I say anything- H/HR FANS. PLEASE READ ON, BUT IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK. I REPEAT: DO NOT GET YOUR HOPES UP. I'M SORRY.
Ok, no, posting again so soon will not happen often, I'm sorry. But my dad just called and I got excited. My dad calls, tells me he's trying to wrap things up at work, and then says,
"So, I got hot gossip." (Lol, my dad saying 'hot gossip' is hilarious) "Harry and Hermione are hooking up?"
It was quite possibly the CRUELEST way to word it, because he knows how much I love Harry/Hermione, but I've trained myself for years in the art of not getting my hopes up. So I calmly question what he's talking about, and he reads from this article.
"Emma Watson shares a cozy Valentine's dinner with her Harry Potter co-star, Daniel Radcliffe. Could magic be brewing between the two stars?" (paraphrased slightly, but the essential words are exactly as is- cozy, Valentine's, dinner, magic, their names).
NOW. NO. STOP. DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING. But I'll put it under a cut, because it might ramble.
First of all? I don't ship real people. Never have, still don't. I MAY think two people look cute together, but, hell, everyone has thought that before. I may think two people have chemistry. Like Lisa Edelstein and Hugh Laurie. They DO have chemistry, but I'm not SHIPPING them. I do NOT think Hugh should leave his wife or anything for Lisa. I do not support/agree with that at ALL.
So that applies here. I do not 'ship' Dan/Emma. I don't. I love their chemistry and think they're great friends. If they happen to become a couple, then that's their choice, and I'll think that's great. If they're not a couple, then I'll still think that's great.
ALSO. There is the possibility that what my dad read me was false, or the whole thing was a misunderstanding- maybe Emma and Dan's look-alikes went out to dinner, maybe Emma and Dan were just hanging out as friends. These ARE possibilities, and I do not ignore them, and I will not be devestated if they're true.
So, my point of bringing this to your attention? Because a) I was to hear what some of you have to say about the whole real-life shipping thing b) I want to hear some speculation, or some reinforced facts, or maybe someone can give me a link to the article. How do I feel about it? I'm energetically intrigued. I'm as interested as I was when I learned that Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer were getting married. (LOL NO I DON'T THINK DAN/EMMA ARE GETTING MARRIED, OR EVEN GOING OUT. I keep on thinking someone will try to put words in my mouth.) I will say this- I think Dan and Emma are ADORABLE together, and their chemistry sparks on-screen. And some of the off-screen footage of them together always made me wonder. BUT BUT. I am staying true to my not-getting-my-hopes-up roots and not assuming anything.
I'm especially interested to hear the thoughts of missmagic86 and lissie_pissie, since they're my closest H/Hr buddies. XD

P.S.S. 'DAYLIGHT ROBBERY' BY IMOGEN HEAP IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS I'VE HEARD. I never knew Imogen Heap was SO freakin' amazing. I'll upload the song, if anyone's interested. It's techno-y and different and invigorating. (Lol, I just realized this weekend that the singer's name is ACTUALLY Imogen Heap. That's her name. How sweet is that?)
