The Hermetic being convinced there was buried treasure under the badger's set. With an unimpressed badger. (Many thanks to Myth for being Steve Yau, and me for a badger impression).

"There appears to be a shaved tapdancing ferret in the radiator pipes." (Iain Mulliner as Charles Fairlight)
"No, I'm not taking the zombie home". - Yves
"Can I have it?" - Charles Fairlight.
The discovery that even in the C14th, you had computer geeks. They were called House Thig, and made magic mirrors rather than having AI's on there computers.
The concept that maybe some mages should just wear a yellow jacket, call themselves canaries, and be done with it.
