first entry for the new year!

no i have not vanished off the face of the earth tho it did seem like it. for the most part '06 has started off pretty good. cassie will be in Paris until august which is kinda depressing, but im happy for her. i know she'll make the best of it. in fact, a lot of my close friends are studying abroad this semester but i suppose that will be to my advantage because ill be able to focus even more on my academic studies. i should also be getting a tattoo this year as i had planned, but alas i seem to have found other things to put holiday money toward so its back to saving some extra cash for that and if it doesnt happen before the spring semester is over then i wont be getting a tattoo until the fall because i simply will not get a tattoo from any place around home over the summer. ICK

i may have found a starting point for showing off my oil paintings! theres a little cafe in gettysburg thats looking for artists to display work. i left my name a number and the owner actually called me back! we're playing phone tag right now, but even if i dont get it worked out within the week im sure they could display some art over the summer. maybe someone will be interested enough to buy a piece! yea, that would be pretty stellar. we'll see where this goes.

also, looking forward to january 17th when i finally turn 21! :o)
dont know if thats good or bad. good i suppose bc now i can go anywhere and do anything, but bad bc most of my friends that are 21 and decent enough to go out with anywhere are studying abroad. i suppose ill get by. haha
