I know it's been a while--here's some research paper silliness to make up for it.
Misleading: Much to the Londons' sorrow, Wolf House, only weeks from finishing, burnt down in a fire, crushing the couple, but Jack even more so. (The crushing was emotional, not physical.)
Typo: Mark Twain was a steam boat navigated up and down the Mississippi.
Non Sequitur: As Poe's life got harder and harder, he became depressed. At the end of his life, no one would believe that Poe was once the best swimmer in his whole school.
