Anyway.

Smart choices I have made in the past 16 hours:

1) Not being able to sleep due to several factors (most of them involving a certain orange cat) so I stayed up until probably 4am reading my new TOTALLY AWESOME SCOTTISH HIGHLANDER ROMANCE NOVELS!!! Okay I was only reading the first one. . .but I did read the entire thing. Which is nearly 400 pages long.

I should have gotten out of bed to work on my thesis or read the 400 page book about the Buddha I am supposed to have finished by my class tomorrow morning at 9am (and I am currently on page 150ish) but no, I continued on in complete, historically-inaccurate bliss.

2) Putting on two white shirts, then looking outside to see that it is, in fact, raining and not just overcast. The Bluebell shirt will have to wait for another day. (I have an oxford shirt that is embroidered with the Bluebell logo of the girl leading the cow. At first glance people usually think it's Polo or something, and then they realize that is it actually entirely more awesome.)

* * *

You know I think that sums up the list.

In other, FML-news, Gaia woke me up this morning (I of course slept through my 9,000 alarms) by stabbing me in the upper lip with one of her claws because she decided that it was time for me to be awake to pet her. So I rolled over to go back to sleep. (Ha! That will show you, cat!)This causes her to vault my body and then start chewing on poor Gregg-the-iPhone. Truly, it is the best way to wake up. From dreams of my new fauxconut.

The pinnacle of my collection.

Have fun.

I tested to make sure it was fully functional.

I know you are jealous, but please try to contain yourselves in the comments. Random friend, I hope you come back and have something to say. I've missed you. Where have you been all these months of my life? I bet you don't even know about the fauxconuts.

Oh and just because I want you to suffer with me: I came back upstairs bearing a plateful of scrambled eggs to serve as my breakfast, only to find both of my cats eating (probably Kitten's) barf off of my bedspread. Soaked through to the sheets! I was too disgusted to even make them stop.

I like that my bright spot of the day so far is that at least they barfed on the machine washable bedspread and not my dry-clean-only eiderdown (I literally do not have $30 extra for that shit right now).

Happy Tuesday!

Love from a Sarah
