[The bird perched on her finger cocks its head and stares silently at the group.]
This is a jabberknoll. They're found mostly in the coniferous forests of the northwestern United States and Canada. They actually have quite the impressive lifespan. But for anyone lucky enough to see it at the moment of its death, the jabberknoll will repeat every sound it's ever heard. Isn't that fascinating?
I wonder what this one will have to say, hm?
