Soooo... I heard back Friday, and I didn't get the job. But, I think that's okay because even though it would have been really exciting and different, I already had plans to go to Washington anyway. So, I am currently planning on moving some time between the 13th and 16th- I have to ship my car a few days ahead and fly down and then drive the rest

I'm all confuzzled. I'm trying to follow your tumblr but when I try to sign up for an account, it wants a URL. I don't have a URL. What exactly am I supposed to be entering there?

Also, I'm sorry you didn't get the job but I'm glad you're going forward with the move. I'll send your housewarming present after the 15th to the Pullman address.

The URL was confusing to me too, thankfully I had my little sister to walk me through it. The URL is what your tumblr url will be - so I put 'unicornempire' because I wanted my URL to be 'unicornempire.tumblr.com'.

And thanks, I'm excited about the move. Megan is already living at the house so you can post it earlier and it'll be there when I get there if it's more convenient to you. I'm curious to see what it is!

Thanks for clarifying the tumblr thing. I was feeling really slow. LOL

I have one more part of your present to make -- I'm 2/3 of the way finished. And I hope I haven't built it up too much! But since there's only one craft I'm any good at, you can probably at least guess the medium.

Thanks! Just checking back: have you shipped the painting yet? I'm now in the US at my mother-in-law's place, and so far, it hasn't arrived yet. Did the post office give you an estimate on when it should arrive?

Hm, I sent it on the 7th I believe (though I can't remember at this point, I had my 6 hour drive and flights yesterday) BUT, I did get delivery confirmation, so let me go find where I put that in my car and look into it, because I think it should have gotten there by now.

Thanks Lmeden = ) After all, it is just a job. I think this will be better for me really, because I'll have time to do what I want to do, which is really important to me right now. I'm hoping that I'll be able to make enough on my art to scrape by for a while until I figure something more permanent out. Worst comes to worst I'll end up broke and come back to Juneau and be right where I started again, so I figure there isn't much to be worried about! I'm also really excited about the opportunity to go to conventions in the lower 48 and explore new places, both of which are things I've been wanting to do for a long time.

Thanks Lina = ) It's ok, it was just a job. There will be more in the future- or if I'm really lucky there won't be any and I'll be able to live off my art, lol!
