What I'm getting up to these days...

Just a quick post, nothing major. I'll give y'all three guesses as to what show I've been watching recently xD ( It was brought to my attention that I never shared a finished Tennant doctor, which I did manage to finish in time for the Boston Convention. So I'm adding him in here next to Amy. I also finished Rose, but I can't find her preview picture)

So my general Overall Plan, which is subject to change at any given moment depending on how panicked I become about the whole thing, is to just finish this set of paper dolls, make a ton of everything that I can, and then open back up the shop when I get everything together, inventoried and put in easy-to-find places. I know it seems stupid but when you've got as much stuff crammed into a single room that you're also living in, you end up putting those 10 paper dolls that you made and packaged in a hatbox, and this hatbox that you have 5 of is stuffed around the room in various space saving nooks and crannies, and when it comes time to send them out THEY BECOME INVISIBLE or something. So I'm working on a more 'transparent' storage system with some hanging shoe storage things in the closet where I put everything I sell. It will just help... everything.

One of the reasons I've been considering not opening back up for a while is this notion I have kicking around in my head of moving to the lower 48. I want to do this for a number of reasons; getting my own place again, having a bit more room, and also being able to go around to conventions. For as much stuff as I've sold on Etsy and how grateful I am to everyone who's helped support me, I've spent at least 200-600 bucks a month in shipping for various supplies, papers paints and everything else because there's no real art store here in Juneau. Space is limited to an absurd degree and I could never afford an apartment here.

Unfortunately that would mean saving up enough money and risking it by moving somewhere I've never been before on my own and trying to make a living wage entirely online and at conventions, which is scary but an exciting notion. So... I'm not sure what's going on, really. I'm definitely willing to listen to any suggestions/life stories/tales of warning!
