Morning Thoughts

Happy Easter to all my friends who may be celebrating today. At least it looks to be a gorgeous day around here for all those photo ops of little kids in their new Easter outfits and the ground should be nice and dry for egg hunts. I want to go on an egg hunt. Although I definitely had more fun hiding the eggs than hunting for them. I think we only hid real eggs once or twice. After that we learned that real eggs are for eating, and plastic eggs are for hiding and seeking. Besides, with the plastic ones, you could get all kinds of neat surprises. Some of the things we'd hide included candy, jewelry, money, and rocks. (Yes, one of my brothers had a cruel sense of humor.) Looks like I'm more nostalgic about those Easter egg hunts this morning than I realized.

To help ease my longing, I thought it would be fun to kind of post my own version of an egg hunt. Below I've listed a couple of films that include eggs in one way or another. I know this isn't a complete list, so please feel free to add to my list:

"EGG FILMS"

Adventures of Milo and Otis
Charlotte's Web (both the original and the remake)
Dinosaur
Dinotopia
Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham
Eragon
Fly Away Home
George and the Dragon
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Jurassic Park
Rescuers Down Under

I'm sure there are more out there. Anyone else care to add to my list?
