TNRF
So, I'm already home instead of at TNRF. They closed the faire 2 hrs after opening and then closed it for the entire weekend. Grrr. 5 hrs of driving for a 2 hrs faire. Didn't pick up a souvenir. I might see if any friends that are going later can get one for me and I pay them back for it.
Apparently this rainfall was the 2nd worst in Nashville history with double digit rainfall. The highways were flooding and boat rescue was being called to save people.
At about 8, Derek decided to head home since they already closed TNRF for the weekend. I went with him. I'm glad I did cause at one point we traded off driving so he could catch a nap.We ended up home at about 4am.
It took us 2 hrs to get through Nashville because of the flooding. We came across 3 roadblocks and ended forded what could be classified as a small creek. Though once we got through things went pretty quick.
It sucks because this was the only weekend we could go to TNRF this year. Do we try again next year?
