eight hours is far too long to spend in a coffee shop
so it turns out that working at starbucks means you're morally obligated to drink at least two cups of coffee a day. . .so that you can educate yourself about coffee, which somehow means customers will be enthusiastically satisfied or whatever. It's actually amazing. It also means that I will never sleep again. My shift supervisor is hugely gay, and everybody else is either Asian or insane. lovely lovely. I haven't got paid yet but once I do I will officially have nothing to complain about. That's a lie, I love complaining. But at least I'll be able to do it in style.
