Went to another wake last night, the mother of one of my supervisors passed away. And tonight K goes to one for one of his friend's grandmother that passed yesterday.
On a different note, I have three more work days before the big operation. I am nervous and excited....and scared. My first operation and it involves a lot of work in my ankle to fix it. Two months in a cast and who knows how long in a brace afterwards is scary as well.
But the pluses are a fixed ankle, so better balance, less aches pains and twitches...eventually decent shoes and a bit of a heel perhaps.
Also not working for the entire summer at the library....no screaming kids and harried moms or nasty patrons. yay ;)
