Matilda will be 2 months on Sunday. She has started to smile and coo recently. When she was 7 weeks old, it sounded like she said, "no!" but I think her mouth was just shut when she was making noises. Her record breaking poop schedule has dropped to 3 times a day. She graduated to infant size clothes and was 8 pounds 14 ounces 2 weeks ago. She had a little bit of thrush, but seems to be over that now.
Echo is her best friend and a great babysitter. She sits ON Matilda to be sure she doesn't roll over. During Matilda's screaming hour (7-8pm) Echo always jumps up onto the couch to tell us how to make it stop yelling. Sola has sniffed her once, and Bo still insists that she's a scary, bald cat.
She's working on sleeping more at night. She can get herself back to sleep after about half an hour of "eh, eh, eh" and seems to know when it's night time. She's making eye contact much more. She still has furry ears, but we're hoping all of it will fall out before she goes to the prom.
I'm starting a part-time nanny job on Monday and Matilda will be coming with me. There will be 1 year old twins and a 3 year old to listen to for 3 hours a day. I still have to notify my work that I won't be coming back for the year.
