i haven't had work in a week. well, it'll be a week on tuesday. it snowed about 2 inches by me and then sleeted on tuesday evening. we got out early on tuesday and haven't been back since. the reason? the sidewalks aren't safe for kids. fine by me. they can't add days to the end of the year because graduation has already been planned. the valentines cookies that the room moms made are going to be so stale.
on monday i found out that i have tendinitis of the shoulder. since i was overcompensating, i think i have it in both shoulders now. apparently i'm 70 years old. my dr gave me 600mg of motrin to take 3 times a day. that pretty much rotted my stomach out. now i'm just rubbing this freeze-it stuff on a couple times a day. it seems to get rid of the swelling. so on my days off, i layed around being sick.
today, i sold that fucking twin bed my mother insisted on bringing here to make the downstairs bedroom look like i had an imaginary 5 year old that was passionate about floral prints. i should have taken a picture of the room before allan moved in. it was pretty scary. i didn't even like sola sleeping on the bed because i was afraid a ghost would take over his body. $150 for the bed. my parents spent $80. tomorrow i have the futon chair going (hopefully) and a bunch of clothes on monday. i'm going to get rid of the treadmill eventually. then the house will be walkable.
i found
this house for bill to buy. it's the best house ever. if that house was around here it would probably go for $500,000.
still no word from mark since before christmas. i guess he caught whatever sar has. he's online all the time, so i know he's not dead. i'll call for his birthday, and that'll be it. i think it's a way for him to get out of inviting me to his wedding. i don't know what else could have happened that made him avoid seeing me over christmas and not even call to explain why. david cassidy's playing in CT on his wedding night anyway.
i got pulled over last week in a parking lot. i made a right hand turn off of a side street, then made a quick left into a parking lot. apparently there were 3 "no left turn signs." i would have had to look 90 degrees to my right to see 2 of the signs, and then through a truck to see the 3rd. while i was waiting for my ticket, the other cop pulled over 3 other people and let 3 go. they all made the turn from the side street. the signs are clear if you're going straight down the main road. allan and i are going to video tape that turn tomorrow so i can bring it in on my court date. it was a bunch of bullshit. around where i live, you only get pulled over if you're waving knife. if you have a gun, you're good to go.
