colbert is HILARIOUS, but he sucks his own cock way too much.. and i cant figure out his political party affiliation.. im assuming democrat.. but he makes me laugh.. and he has a great sense of humor.. and hes dorky cute.. and smart.. i cant wait to go to college so i can finally watch cable

The Colbert Report is a deadpan parody of conservative Republican talkshows, so therefore, it is safe to assume that he is a Democrat.

The main appeal of the show is his ability to lampoon Republicans by taking their arguments to the logical conclusions. He's in character for the entire duration of every episode.
