So anime fans is shows tonight that adult swim has put out well i wouldn't say new, but a new one for them, that i know of Sat at 12:30 to 1 EST is Blood + after watching it i looked it up, for those that don't know what its about, and/or want to know here is the plot of it:
Throughout the passage of time and the shifts in backgrounds, a particular war continues to leave its mark on history, extending its influence into the modern world. There are two major groups involved in the ensuring war. The first group consists of monsters known as Chiropterans who can change their appearances into that of human beings. They are actually immortals who feed on the blood of the living. The second group is an organisation known as the "Red Shield", formed to track down these monsters and exterminate them. Otonashi Saya is a high-school girl who lives a peaceful life with her family. The only problem is, she has no recollections of her life beyond that of the past year. However, her happy life will be destroyed by an event that will lead her to her destined fate.
So far it is interesting, but i don't know personally i liked Trinity Blood which has ended, and to short as well. the end the series kind of poorly, however if i'm right there is another few sets to that series so i hope to see those out soon, or let them keep going.. (edit: Nevermind i doubt their gonna keep going only because the gentlemen who created the series has already passed on)
then next part is a spoiler so for those who have not seen the ending or those who don't want to wait till they replay it or go buy the DVDs feel free to read or not read this next part.
They ended the series in a few ways first off Father Abel Nightroad's sister is the empress of the Methuselah, and their other brother Cain (Cain and Abel for those who never read the bible) Killed their so called mother in the beginning days of the R.O.M (reborn on mars) and again Cain killed Abel, which was sad, but really cool, anyways during all this time the pope as been kidnapped by the Third House. and while he is realizing the truth, that basically he needs to stop being a cry baby, and while thats going on the sister with the star for a birthmark (whom i can't remember her name off the top of my head) is really a princess of the human order that lives with the Methuselah in the end Abel is brought back to life with vampires blood and boy is he pissed, you finally get to see his Crusnik 02 100% and as he fights Cain who also is a crusnik the cities are under attack by the old technology that can leave cities untouched but killing every human and Methuselah alike. in the very end (spearing everyone the KILL-ASS BATTLE) Abel and the earl of Memphis set out to hunt Cain for he and Abel tied in their battle and the pope and the princess .. either get married or become partners or something they didn't really explain that part. and thats basically it. there were a few more story lines that went on, but more.. side quests then anything.
