District 9
I won a couple tickets to a free screening of District 9 last night. I invited Justin along. I've been to screenings of movies before, but security was really tight at this one. They even took our cell phones (obviously, they gave them back after the movie.)
I thought the movie was very good. Not your typical mindless summer action movie. Although there is plenty of violence and explosions.
After the movie was over, the director and star of the film answered some audience questions.
Since we took the el there, I got to see the potatoes on the ceiling of the tunnel connecting the Blue and Red lines.
