It's something that happens often enough, honestly. People being taken from this place, only to reappear. Sometimes remembering, sometimes not. Given your reactions, it's likely that it's the latter.

That's why I'm giving it to you. There's a lot of information; it's a lot to grasp, but hopefully it will give you a better understanding of the situation.
