Right, so, first thing's first: we got the apartment! I am so excited! We submitted our application and they accepted us, and we managed to get the money together for our deposit so we're good to go! (Epic thanks to my Papa who helped us out.)
Wanna see where laurav2, freakstop and I will be living? I know you do.
Please note that our soon-to-be home is still being renovated so nothing's really in place - the kitchen's not done at all, the bathrooms aren't either, and there's no baseboards. So, yeah, take these with a grain of salt because it will be much nicer once all the work's done:
Oh, and just for the record: this apartment is going to be the geekiest place that ever geeked. The combined geeky awesomeness of all three of us in the same living space is going to be epic.. I'm not even sure the world will be able to handle how amazing it will be.
Planning has begun for wall paint colours - so far we're kinda decided on yellow for the kitchen, and blue for the powder room (because I bought penguin-themed accessories) - and the painting will be the first thing done at the beginning of April.
I am so beyond stoked!
Oh, and because I'm a huge nerd, I played Lord of the Rings Online, like, all day and my Hunter looks totally badass now because she has cool armour (which I dyed so it all matched) and a huge axe (yeah, that's right.. a HUGE axe!).
