Well
The last few days have been eventful.
On Friday, I caught a ride into Hamilton with my dad so that I could go Boxing Day shopping with Stephanie. We went to the mall, as well as Wal-Mart and Future Shop. I did pretty well.
I bought these DVD's:
* The X-Files Season 3
* The X-Files Season 4
* The X-Files Season 5
* Iron Man
* Transformers
* August Rush
* Music & Lyrics
I got an 8GB USB flash drive from Future Shop for $12.99, which is pretty exciting because I can put my downloaded TV shows and movies on it.
And I also bought some stuff at Old Navy with my gift card: this sweater in pink, a grey and white striped cardigan and a long sleeved t-shirt. I also bought a t-shirt at The Disney Store.
We watched a couple of movies on Friday night, Step Brothers which was kind of lame but had a few funny parts, Pathology which we couldn't even sit through and ended up fast forwarding, and The Secret, which was weird but I liked it. Plus, Duchovny is hot.
Yesterday, we attempted to go to the new Silver City theatre in Hamilton to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. We got our tickets and had an hour before the movie started so we got food and were eating it when all of a sudden the power went out. We were like, "Awesome!". Anyways, they ended up after about 15 minutes asking everyone to evacuate, but I put up a stink because I didn't want to be out the money I spent on my movie ticket if I wasn't able to see it. They told me I could come back tomorrow and pick up a replacement ticket, but I told them that I lived out of town, so they ended up giving me a coupon for a free movie. So at least that's that. But I didn't get to see the movie. Poop.
Last night, Stephanie, Jen, Brent and I drank and played Sing Star and Karaoke Revolution. It was pretty fun.
Now I'm back in Brantford again, where I'll be until New Year's Eve. I'm just going to chill out, maybe watch some of my new DVD's and the Doctor Who Christmas special.
