Memes + stuff

Two memes that looked fun.

1. Take a picture of your bag
2. Now dump everything out and neatly adjust them, and take a picture (no matter how embarrassing)
3. Talk about the items inside. Details!

My bag: got it as a gift from jess_elle, and I looooooove it. It's my favourite bag I've ever owned. Also, I'm eight.

Contents:
1) My "catch-all" zipper pouch made for me by _eatstars. Inside is feminine products, Advil, a mirror, band-aids, a small first-aid kit, hair ties and other little knick-knacks I might need. I like to be over prepared.
2) Sunglasses. They're prescription, for I am blind.
3) Wallet. It's also Hello Kitty, because I'm obsessed and horribly predictable.
4) What I'm currently reading: "New Moon" by Stephenie Meyer. I know, right? It's so bad.
5) Umbrella - purple and gold with my school's name on it.
6) My bus pass.
7) Keys, with Laurier (my school) keychain/holder.
8) iPod & headphones. The iPod skin is from Gela Skins.
9) A pen.
10) Lip gloss - it's by Rimmel.
11) A tote bag that folds up into this lil' pouch. Very handy. It was a gift from a friend.
12) Gum.
13) Hairbrush.
14) Deodorant. Because I re-apply like 3 times a day; I'm paranoid.
15) My cell phone, which is currently dead battery-wise and has no minutes. Clearly useful.
16) Kleenex.

Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a view of their desktops as well.

(Its actual size is 1280x800.)
What can I say? I'm obsessed with that picture and the clusterfuck of awesome guest stars for the next two episodes.

I spent the last two days visiting my parents at their new house in Brantford. The house is really nice - all new and shiny. They're the only ones in their little strip of townhouses, though, so they're kind of lonely. And they have dirt for a front and back yard. They're also not unpacked yet, so there are boxes everywhere and stuff. But it'll be really nice when they have all of their new furniture and appliances and when they're completely settled. I probably won't be back there until either late summer or even early fall, depending on life. So hopefully next time I'm there it'll look a lot different.

My dad bought a new computer yesterday and I spent last night setting it up for him. It's very shiny. I like it a lot. I had to teach him how to use Vista, he was a little worried but I think he'll catch on.
