Is there a certain season after which I should watch the Fight the Future movie? Is it canon? It came out before the end of the series, right? I've just started season three, and wanted to know where the movie fits in.

(I didn't Wiki/Google this for fear of being spoiled for large things I don't know about in the later seasons.)
