Well, hello.
I'm so excited that Doctor Who is back!
3x01 Smith and Jones
I was worried that I wouldn't be able to like Martha, because of my deep love for Rose, but I actually like her. As Laura pointed out, Rose was street smart, but Martha is book smart. I like that. Martha's not as Mary-Suey as I thought she might be, but she's rather enjoyable. I will say I was slightly upset about the kiss when it first happened, but I'm over it and I think RTD could have done something different there, but oh well. I'm really just hoping that Martha and Ten will become really good friends, and not have any kind of romantic relationship or feeling towards each other. Just, you know, hang out and really love eachother with that friend kind of love. I'm pretty sure my favourite part of the episode was either shoeless!Ten or the way he kept rustling his hair and making it all messy. How is David Tennant so hot? I don't compute. Next week looks enjoyable - Shakespeare! :D I want Jack to come back and hit on the Doctor. (In my world, Torchwood doesn't really exist because I've never watched it and probably never will.

In real life, I went to the Volunteer Appreciation dinner on Friday night and it was good times. I was really drunk, but then they did 2 hours of speeches so I sobered up. But then I danced. And it was fun.
Yesterday I worked for seven hours, and it was absolutely brutal because my feet were in so much pain. But today I'm off. I have a thing at the school for next year's co-ordinators and executive teams, so that's what I'm doing. Whoo.
